Sick and Safe Time Employees
Sick and safe time in Minnesota is a benefit that allows you to take paid time off when you need it, without having to worry about losing your job. You can use it for a variety of reasons, such as when you are sick or to care for a sick family member.
Employees have the right to paid sick hours. These are accumulated at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, with an annual limit of 48 hours and a cumulative maximum of 80. The detailed recording of these hours is carried out through our Payroll system (ADP).
